Mr & Mrs Claus' Living Room - 40489

For the die-hard LEGO collector, this set holds a near-mythical status. Mr. & Mrs. Claus' Living Room (40489) was originally planned as the exclusive Christmas GWP (Gift With Purchase) of 2021, but was cancelled by LEGO at the very last minute. As a result, this cozy, festive scene has become one of the most discussed and sought-after 'unreleased' sets in modern LEGO history!

The set offers a warm, nostalgic look into the private room of Santa and Mrs. Claus, where they relax together after a year of hard work. The beautifully detailed room is equipped with a cozy, burning fireplace with stockings on the mantel, a comfortable armchair, and a festively decorated Christmas tree. On the wall hangs a detailed mirror, and on the chest of drawers, a tea set is ready for a cozy winter evening.

The set includes two exclusive minifigures: Mrs. Claus with a tray full of freshly baked cookies and Santa Claus himself. The most iconic and talked-about detail of this cancelled set is the printed tile of 'Santa's Naughty List', which Santa holds in his hand. This brick can be found only in this set. Because LEGO also strongly believes that there are no naughty children, they had to recall this set before it even reached the stores. It remains an absolute masterpiece in terms of Christmas atmosphere and a legendary conversation piece for every hardcore LEGO fan!
