What exactly does 'Pre-loved LEGO' mean and what can I expect?

Pre-loved LEGO are original building sets that have been opened and previously owned. Unlike regular second-hand LEGO that you buy on an online marketplace, our pre-loved sets go through a strict quality selection process. Every brick is checked for authenticity and cleanliness. You can therefore expect a top-quality set that is ready to be built (again) immediately.

Are the pre-loved sets in your webshop guaranteed to be 100% complete?


Our pre-loved sets are at least 99% complete. What does this mean? Our team of specialists manually checks each opened set against the original inventory list. We guarantee that all parts needed to fully build the model, including all minifigures and unique accessories, are present. The only things that might be missing are the mini spare parts that LEGO typically includes in a new box. So, you can always build the set from start to finish without any problems!

Do used or opened LEGO sets retain their collector's value?

Absolutely! Many of the models in our pre-loved collection are rare or retired sets (sets that LEGO has discontinued). Because these specific models are highly sought after by collectors, they retain a high collector's value, provided they are complete and in excellent condition. Even if you place the built set in your display cabinet, it remains a valuable and unique collector's item. Tip: So definitely don't throw away the box and manual!
